Ever wondered why certain medications don’t work after several days of use? Normally people who have experienced this will conclude that the drug is fake, expired or even a wrong prescription. Some will even go as far as blaming their village people for being at the top of their game. But do you know there are certain foods and medicine you shouldn’t mix together?

Yes. Certain meals can prevent your medications from working, or worse still, cause dangerous side effects, and we have curated 6 of them here. Many people probably do not know this, so share to save a life.

Vitamin C and Anti-malaria drugs

This is what happens when you mix both. But first a background:

All drugs are metabolized in the liver. The liver is rich in iron, and iron is important in the life cycle of malaria parasites (plasmodium). Vitamin C helps in absorption of iron, which goes to the liver. Malaria parasites accumulate in the liver and multiply since the iron they need to survive is surplus there. This counteracts the effect of whatever malaria drug you’re taking. So chill on those citrus fruits or supplements when you’re treating malaria.

Painkillers and Soft drinks

We all know soft drinks contain carbonated water. I mean, it’s boldly written on the bottle label/can. Carbonated water = Carbon-dioxide gas + water (LOL, no, you do not just add carbon-dioxide and water together, it has to be dissolved under pressure and all). So when you take painkillers and soft drinks together, the Carbon-dioxide gas and the acid it contains increases concentration of the drugs in the blood, which leads to toxicity that could be fatal.

Diary products and Antibiotics

Antibiotics are drugs used in the treatment and prevention of bacteria. Examples are Tetracycline and penicillin. Dairy products are rich in Calcium, which prevents the body from absorbing these antibiotics. This reduces the drug’s efficacy.

Banana and Anti-hypertensive drugs

Bananas are rich in potassium. Anti-hypertensive drugs increase potassium levels in the blood. Anti-hypertensive drugs + Bananas = too much potassium which leads to irregular heartbeat, heart palpitations and could causes diseases such as Arrhythmia. Love your heart.

Grape fruit and Statins

Statin is a class of drug used to lower cholesterol levels. Like most drugs, it also has side effects. Grape fruit contains a compound/chemical that stops the breakdown of statins in the intestine. It leads to increased level of the drug = higher risk of side effects.

Leafy Vegetables and Anti Coagulants (Blood Thinner)

Anti-coagulants (Blood Thinners) are medications that decelerate blood coagulation. No, they don’t actually thin your blood but they prevent blood clots from growing larger and are used to prevent stroke and treat heart disease. Examples are Aspirin, Warfarin.

Leafy Vegetables are rich in Vitamin K – Vitamin K promotes blood clotting. So what happens? The effect of the drug is countered.

This shouldn’t be the first time you read “Don’t take drugs with alcohol’. Why so?

Drugs are metabolized in the liver. Alcohol is metabolized in the liver. You actually over work your liver when taking alcohol and drugs at the same time leading to liver damage.

We all know medicine comes with a long list of things you can’t do but what most people don’t know is that some natural healthy meals are part of the list. Limit certain foods and if a certain drug doesn’t work or makes you feel some type of way, don’t assume anything. Immediately consult your doctor for advice.

Here is a post based on Herdsmen and Farmers Crisis in Nigeria,

Cain was a Arable farmer while Abel was a Livestock farmer
Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. I never read of any clash between them based on their work!
Abraham and Lot Herd's Men

Gen_13:2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Gen_13:5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. Gen 13:7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. Gen 13:8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. Their was disagreement between herd's men of Abraham and Lot. Not between herd's men and farmers!

Isaac's Herd's Men
Gen_26:20 And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him. Disagreement between among the herd's men of Isaac and herd's men of Gerar. Not between herd's men and farmers!

Gen_32:7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands;

Herd's Men
If Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc could handle herd's men and farmers relationship in those day and we are not able to do so now, then some thing is wrong some where. The government should make sure herdsmen register with the local governments where they are located. If possible, register their cows like vehicles are registered. The government can even generate some income by issuing cow-license. Make ranches for them. If any is adamant and prefers to take his cows through the street, then let their me monthly cow-license!

There are many undergraduate project works, OND, HND, M.Sc. and Ph.D. dissertations and theses which explored the Nigerian Vegetation distribution. Get them for study. Identify grazing paths which do not pass through farm land. Organize seminars for them (Herdsmen and Farmers) in their languages to enlighten them about the paths. Do we need God to do all these for us?

Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi To President Buhari:

A Soldier salary is 49,000 forty nine thousand naira, some no accommodation they rent house outside the barrackk no risk allowance  instead they sleep inside bush fought to defend the Nation.

Where is the change?
Change should start with the National assembly: = A Senator receives N36,000,000 (thirty-six million Naira) monthly. If this is divided into two = N18,000,000 million (Eighteen million Naira). The second half which is N18,000,000 (eighteen million Naira) can be used to employ 200 Nigerians, each earning a salary of N90,000 (ninety thousand Naira) monthly. When you multiply 200 people with the number of Senators (109), this will give 21,800 Nigerians gainful employment. In short, 200 Nigerians will be able to live a comfortable life on half a Senator’s monthly salary.

A member of the House of Representatives receives a salary of N25,000,000 (tenty-five million Naira) monthly. If this salary is divided in two = N12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand Naira). The other half, which is the sum of N12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand Naira) will be enough to employ 135 Nigerians with a monthly salary of N92.500 (ninety-two thousand and five hundred Naira) each. Nigeria has 360 Members of the House of Representatives, half of their salaries can employ 48,600 Nigerians who can live comfortable lives. So, Baba Buhari’s Administration can employ 70,400 Nigerians with monthly salaries ranging from N90,000 to N92.500 accordingly. This is just by dividing the salaries of Senators and Members of the House of Representatives. Half their present salaries is more than enough for them in a country where majority of Nigerians live on less than a dollar a day. (Now think of all the other over bloated salaries and allowances of Ministers and others)

You may try this idea Your Excellency, the President. Nigerians, spread this message to Senators and Members of the House of Representatives and others prick their conscience if they have any and to let them know how many Nigerians are not working because of their greed. Transformation should start from the Congress!

Spiritual works is one of the great pillars of the Celestial faith which pilot us unto fulfilment.  Spirit inspired actions carried out in a way that is beyond human reasoning and imaginations to bring about great results. Spiritual works started back from the garden of Eden to make man a spirit, soul and body in one entity *(Isaiah43:7)*

The reason why many are suffering in the fold and dying before time is that the dimension of revelation is missing as such people miss out in many things. It is impossible for God to lie. Never but why is that things are not happening the way it should be?

Prosperity of spirit, soul and body is that which God promises. Yet many are not experiencing that from *JERIHMOYAHMAH*
Spiritual works are not man's reasoning but the revelation of the means of God to bring about magnificent results. It is a precious package for the peculiar nation of God.

The waters of Marah were bitter, the people could not drink Moses cried unto the Lord, He showed him a tree which he cut of it, cast it into the waters, it was made sweet. There he made them a statute and ordinance giving them a code for delivery in healing and a direction in divine health *(Exodus15:23-26)*

Jericho was in a bad state, the ground was barren and the waters were not useful. Elisha the man of God according to divine instruction used Salt for restoration in the setting *(2Kings2:18-21)*

 Papa SBJO as instructed by the Spirit and it was written that CCC is part of the spiritual, world-wide, united, indivisible Holy Church. The works of divine healing and God's spiritual mark testified that God sent him. He was given miraculous works of  Holy divine healing to be carried out in the name of Jesus so that men will listen to him and follow him as delivered by the winged Angel bathed in intense light on the 29th of September 1947. Part of such spiritual works was employed at the ocean surge in Grandpopo when the use of egg depicting the world and needle the sea with the Angel of waters summoned for the purpose and the sea receeded.

Who has power beyond Jesus Christ? The man born blind he spat on the ground made clay of the spittle, anointed the man to wash in the pool of Siloam, he saw for the first time in his life *(John9:1-11)* The Pharisees said it was blasphemy the man made mention of his encounter. While they see blasphemy in the act of the Lord the man gave glory to God for the blessings he enjoyed.
Also a man having impediment in speech and dumb Jesus spat, put his fingers into his ears and touched his tongue. And looked up into heaven, He sighted and said unto him Ephphatha and he received his miracle *(Mark7:32-37)*
Another case was in Bethsaida, Jesus spit into the blindman eyes, put His hand on him asked him what he saw. He said he saw men walking as trees. The Lord put His hands on him again and the man saw clearly *(Mark8:22-26)* Do Christ not have power to declare that he be healed at once without performing any spiritual work? God work in a mystery.

  Spiritual works are given by revelations for our settlement. They are codes by God to bring solutions.

As we know, the mercy land as revealed to CCC is a replica of the garden of gesthamane where Christ Jesus had his final:
1. fellowship with his disciples (who were all fast asleep),
2. prayer session with God in preparation for his tribulation with angelic visitation and
3. where he was finally betrayed, performed a miracle  and got arrested.

1,2 and 3 represent a mixture of the good, bad and ugly experiences of life but never still, becoming victorious. It must be recalled that the garden of gesthamane itself is a picture of the garden of Eden where

1' God fellowshipped with man;
2' man was in charge of the animals, was given  assignment to keep the garden, got married and;
3' the serpent operated, deceived man and  man was sent out.

The mercy land of CCC portrays to us a scenario of  being in a no man's land (desert/wilderness), faced with supernatural challenge of drought (restlessness), famine (lack), intense itching of the sun (difficulties and challenges)  but the mercy of God providing *a well of water*  to quench our spiritual  thirst , *fruits on trees*  for spiritual food, shade and the *presence of God* which watches over us day and night (7 candle lamp stand)Haggai had that experience with his child. Jonah also (Jonah 4).

The sand of the seashore is in line with Rom 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the *sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved and out of God's saving mercy* depict ...

1" walking on harmless terrain (no stones or thorns or thistles or hard objects to pitch our feet;
2" life with no struggle (weeds do not grow in sand and sand is soft to dip hands into and drains water);
3" life with no dirt (the sand has no dust)

1,2,3,  1',2',3' , 1", 2", 3" correspond....

1", 2", 3" are a reverse of the curses of God on the land in

Gen 3:
 17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: *cursed is the ground* for thy sake; in *sorrow shalt thou eat of it* all the days of thy life; (Compare)

 18  *Thorns also and thistles* shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
 19  In the *sweat of thy face* shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: *for dust thou art, and unto dust* shalt thou return.

Note, the serpent was cursed to eat dust (not sand).
Gen 3:
14  And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and *dust* shalt thou eat all the days of thy life. Dust represents a natural man (adamic nature). The devil has control over such. Snakes struggle to move on sand! Hence, for a son of the spirit who enjoys God's mercy in the mercy land style, he is satanically unreachable,  touchable, and not consumable.This is why God used 2 things to describe the descendants of Abraham to him:

1. stars of the sky (celestial);
2. Sands of the sea shore (eternally alive).

Terrestrial is dusty while celestial is starry and sandy. This is why we not sprinkle  dust at CCC burial or bring dead bodies into the church. We sprinkle water. Sand is water washed!

I have been following closely the activities of this government and whenever I have the opportunity, I try to find out the opinions of people as regards the performance of this government.

I just realized that the hardship faced by many Nigerians is simply as a result of the fact that almost everyone of us benefited from the cycle of corruption.

The bricklayer, plumber, laborers, tiler are all complaining because building construction has slowed down massively cause the thieves no longer have money to spend on real estate.

The car dealers are grumbling because their cars are begging for buyers. Thieves can no longer spend wastefully.

The private school owners are shouting because parents can no longer pay outrageous sums and are withdrawing their wards.

I was shocked when I learn that in a popular private University in Abuja, parents are writing undertaking at the account section for their children to be allowed to write exams... and it goes on and on.

The fact is, a lot of people are returning to what someone referred to as ''default mode''.

We mostly have been living above our REAL MEANS.

We have been staying in houses that ordinarily our incomes can't afford.

Our children going to schools we can't afford. Driving cars we ordinarily can't maintain.

We have been living a FAKE LIFE all along. Now the reality is before us and we don't want to accept it.

This shows how morally bankrupt we are.

You can't eat your Cake and have it. Take Note..."GOD HELP AND BLESS NIGERIA"

You got billions from bank without collateral using your political influence. You put half into your business and spent the other half on exotic cars, jeweleries, etc.

Your business employs 100 people normally. You get illegal waivers and concessions to import raw materials at rock bottom prices, you get over-inflated contract to supply government some goods your company short your company is kept afloat by corruption.

Now the new SHERIFF in town says:

no more ridiculous waivers,
no more inflated contracts, no more bank loans without collateral, in fact its time you or your company pay off the billions of debt owed.....

AMCON takes over your company, staff are laid off......And you go on air and say the new sheriff is killing business and causing unemployment..

The truth and your company were never in business, you were only feeding off the system.

Too many companies and banks are funded by corruption. Remove corruption from the system and they collapse.......and we end up blaming the person that removes corruption for the collapse of the corruptly run fake company.

Its like our system and corruption are so interwoven and inseparable that removing one will kill the other.

Maybe we should tolerate and learn to live with corruption so that Nigeria can survive?

Recession: What recession? If you think Nigeria is broke, then you are living in another planet. Now, please read the information below and tell me why Nigerians crying of hardship are comfortable with the bold looting of their collective wealth by the politicians.

Twenty-one senators currently receiving pensions from government as ex-governors and deputy governors.

The current senators who once served as governors are Bukola Saraki of Kwara, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano, Kabiru Gaya of Kano, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, Theodore Orji of Abia, Abdullahi Adamu of Nasarawa, Sam Egwu of Ebonyi, Shaaba Lafiagi of Kwara, Joshua Dariye of Plateau Jonah Jang of Plateau, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko of Sokoto, Ahmed Sani Yarima of Zamfara, Danjuma Goje of Gombe, Bukar Abba Ibrahim of Yobe, Adamu Aliero of Kebbi, George Akume of Benue and Isiaka Adeleke of Osun.

The  former deputy governors in the Senate are Ms Biodun Olujimi of Ekiti and Enyinaya Harcourt Abaribe of Abia. Danladi Abubakar Sani served as the acting governor of Taraba state.

Many former governors are also in Buhari's Cabinet as Ministers. This includes: Ngige, Fayemi, Amaechi and Fashola (SAN).).

In Akwa Ibom State, the law provides that ex governors and deputy governors receive pension equivalent to the salaries of the incumbent. The package also includes a new official car and a utility vehicle every four years; one personal aide; a cook, chauffeurs and security guards for the governor at a sum not exceeding N5 million per month and N2.5 million for his deputy governor.

In Rivers, the law provides 100 percent of annual basic salaries for the ex-governor and deputy, one residential house for the former governor “anywhere of his choice in Nigeria”; one residential house anywhere in Rivers for the deputy, three cars for the ex-governor every four years and two cars for the deputy every four years.

It is alledged that in Lagos, a former governor will get two houses, one in Lagos and another in Abuja, estimated at N500 million in Lagos and N700 million in Abuja. He also receives six new cars to be replaced every three years; a furniture allowance of 300 percent of annual salary to be paid every two years, and a N30 million pension annually for life.

This is the reality for all the 21 ex govenors and deputy governors who are currently serving as senators. This same is also true of ex governors who are now serving as Ministers.

How many years did these guys serve their states as governors and deputy governors? Is it more than 8years? Is that a reason to be entitled to pensions for life? Even if they are entitled to pension for life, must it be so outrageous?

As if that is not enough: HOW on earth can any public servant with conscience collect salaries and allowances as a senator or minister, and still have the audacity to claim pensions equivalent to the salaries of a serving governor in Nigeria?

Once you are elected a senator or appointed a minister, you must forfeit any pension accruing to you from government at any level until you vacate office. This should also apply to senators collecting military pensions like former Senate President David Mark.

Yet these senators are in the Senate that is inviting the current finance minister to discuss the recession of Nigeria's economy. A senator pockets approximately 30 million naira monthly as salary and allowances. Our "honourables" are not interested to make laws that could restructure our country into economically autonomous federating States/Regions to save the country from sectional agitations that is threatening  to destroy Nigeria. The sad and hopeless situation is that the rest of Nigerians are busy arguing based on party, ethnic and affiliations while these enemies of state continue to rape us.

Do you know that it costs tax payers 290m Naira yearly to maintain each member of our National Assembly in a country where nothing works & 80% of population earn below 300 Naira a day ? A working day earning of a senator is more than a yearly income of a doctor; it's more than the salary of 42 Army generals or 48 professors or 70 commissioners of police or more than twice the pay of the US President or 9 times the salary of US congressmen.

It's high time the country had a referendum on those outrageous salaries of Senators, House of Representative members and other political office holders.
