The Concept of Divine Supply

Jesus had over five thousand people to feed and all He had was five loaves of bread and two fish. The size of the crowd against the tiny food in His hands - anybody with such lopsided demand and supply factor would give up, but Jesus didn’t. He sees possibility when everything else looks impossible.

It’s impossible for a loving resourceful Father to refrain from meeting the needs of his children. God is willing and able to provide all your needs. What is needed is that you trust Him. Those who put their trust in the Lord, are never disappointed.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:19

The import of this scripture is that no one can supply all your needs except God. Man can only supply out of his limited capacity. However, God will supply all your need because He has abundant resources. God’s supply doesn’t fix a particular need but all your needs. In essence, He will supply all your spiritual, physical, financial, career and emotional needs.

Sometimes we forget that our God is the creator of the heaven and earth and all things; the silver, gold, all you can think of.

When there was no employer God gave Adam a job in the garden of Eden. He provided a helper suitable for him out of his rib bone. God supplied manna and quails in the wilderness for the children of Israel. You can add your list of how God always graciously supply the needs of His children. Remember the cattle on a thousand hills belong to him.

Prayer: I praise you Lord, for you are able to supply all my needs according to your glory in Christ Jesus.
