Never Give Up!

Never give up

To give up on a matter is to surrender, to stop or quit an activity, to lose hope concerning a matter, to abandon something. To give up is to admit defeat. Many people today have admitted defeat because of some sort of delay as their  prayer request is concerned. They abandoned their prayers because didn't come speedily or as expected. But we must all know that the will of God is for us not to quit as expressed in Luke 28:1 “ One day Jesus told His disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and show them that they must never give up” [ NTL]. The widow in the refused to admit defeat and she got victory.

Sometimes, failure to persist in place of prayer proves that we are not serious about our request in the first place. The widow was serious and she got what she requested from even an unjust judge. How much more the just God.

James has this to say in chapter 5:16 ….the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes power available ( dynamic in its working).( AMP) You may pray not see or feel power when you pray but the truth is that whatever you pray , you become more powerful than you were before praying.

Power is released when you pray. The power generated in the place of persistent prayers helps you to overpower the challenges and circumstance against you. When you have power, you don't admit defeat , it means you have not persisted in prayers for prayer activates the power at work in us.

We must never give up in the place of prayer because prayer has no expiry date. You never know when, where or how God will answer you.

Persisting in prayers makes Angels available for your help as it happened to Daniel chapter 10:12 and to Peter in Acts 12:7. Divine assistance and intervention does not envade a man who never gives up in prayers.

Persistence breaks resistance and it superimposes discouragement and God's power over stubborn issued of life.

You may be experiencing delay or disappointment in one aspect or the other of your life but I want you to know God has no pleasure in delaying your request. Rather, before your ask He had promised promised to grant your request but there may be some personal or satanic barriers standing against your prayers and the only place of victory over such barriers is in the place of persistent prayers.

If there is anytime to persist in prayer, it is now. For you are closer to your miracle and breakthrough than before. “ Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.” (AMP; Matthew 7:7-8 )

Do not leave the door you have been knocking because response is coming. Dooris opening unto you. Help is coming your way, barriers are lifted and divine intervention are close by if you refuse to admit defeat.

Never forgot, your breakthrough is closer than you think. Stay a bit longer in prayers. Your awaiting is not a waste. Your strength and power is been received in His presence. Strategies are been received in His presence as you tarry more. There is sure to be a new dawn if you never give up.
