Lack of Trust Leads to Betrayal

Have you ever played a trust game in a drama lesson? They're really simple. It is like playing a game catch, only you are the ball. For example, you might be in pair , standing in front of your partner. All you have to do is keep your feet and backwards. Your partner promises to catch you. The questions is, do you trust them enough to catch you or will move your feet and catch yourself?

True Friends

Trust is a trick thing. You cannot live your without putting your trust in other people every sing day: the bus driver not to crash the bus; the teacher to teach you the right information; a friend to keeps confidence. The problem with trust is that it makes us vulnerable. We do not want to have to rely on someone else and we do not want to get hurt if they let us down.

Imagine someone catching you in a trust game and then, instead of tipping you forward so that you are upright again , they take a step back, dropping you to the floor. That is betrayal: putting your trust in someone and finding them to be unworthy of it; trusting someone who let's you down.
