It Is Not Too Late To Take Back Your Possession

Joshua led the children of Israel into the Promised Land. He led them in battles against the existing nations in the land God promised them. The Lord continued to bless the Israelites in victories as they continued to take more territory, just as He had promised. In the beginning, their faith was strong. But as years passed, there was still the need to drive out the other inhabitants from their own allotted territories. Seven tribes hesitated to go forth and take their inheritance. The gift lay before them, so why the delay? Why did Joshua have to force them to go forward and take their inheritance?

Maybe they were afraid of the unknown. They were afraid of the opposition. What about you? How many times do you neglect to take the gift that God is giving you? We pray and pray for something and then one day, God answers our prayer. But the answer involves stepping out in one way or the other. Sometimes we see the answer clearly before us, but we hesitate to go forth and take it. Maybe you are more comfortable just praying for it than actually receiving it. We are sometimes afraid of the change that we must make in our lives in order to receive from God. We prefer our old ways.

Is there something you are neglecting to possess? God has a promise land for each one of us. Don't let fear or hesitation keep you from possessing it. Has God given you an idea that you are hesitating to implement? Do you have a business plan that has been on the shelf all this while? Step out in faith, and see what the Lord can do with you.

Bible Text ; Joshua 18:1-10
1 Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them.
2 But there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance.
3 Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?
4  Pick out from among you three men for each tribe, and I will send them; they shall rise and go through the land, survey it according to their inheritance, and come back to me.
5 And they shall divide it into seven parts. Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north.
6 You shall therefore survey the land in seven parts and bring the survey here to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord our God.
7  But the Levites have no part among you, for the priesthood of the Lord is their inheritance. And Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave them.”
8  Then the men arose to go away; and Joshua charged those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go, walk through the land, survey it, and come back to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord in Shiloh.”
9     So the men went, passed through the land, and wrote the survey in a book in seven parts by cities; and they came to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh.
10   Then Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the Lord, and there Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.

Proverbs  11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.  11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Its not enough to live long, its what you live for that really matters. There are those who lived for more than a hundred years but made no impact in the lives of those around them;there was just nothing significant about their lives. They really didn't contribute to their society always taking never giving back. Are you contributing positively to the advancement of the lives of those around you?

Get this my friends this is question you must ask yourself and truthfully answer yourself. Choose to live a meaningful life ,one that'll make the world move forward touching the lives of others in positive way. Be  a bless to others ,and you'll always be lifted ,for you're lifted as you lift others.!Your promotion is in your promoting others. Your success is discovered when you help others become.
You'll never discover the treasure God has kept in you until you reach out to help someone else become something. That's where real joy is!This is because  the (liberal soul shall be made fat and he that watereth shall be watered also himself )not my words friends its the word of God Hallelujah!God will make happen for you what you make happen to others. So keep helping those around you stand strong and ,help them discover their God-given potential, be a part of their success story and victory. If you're an employer ,help those in your employ realize their dreams for success don't be selfish. In the same way, as an employee in any where you're be diligent, commit yourself to improving where you're make the progress of where you're don't step aside. Your step of improvement to others will come back to you.

You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God is giving you. —Deuteronomy 16:20. Once we have heard the voice of the Lord, we need to follow. The word "follow" means to deliberately decide to comply with instruction. It is a deliberate choice for the child of God to follow the voice of the Heavenly Father. We need to deliberately decide to follow the Lord's instructions and to do what He tells us to do.

As you get to know the Lord better, you will come to realise that when He calls you, it is always worth obeying. When He says something, it is for your benefit. If He says, "Go this way," it is because He has green pastures and still waters for you. If He says, "Stop! Don't do that," it is because He is trying to protect you from potential danger, possibly something that is even life-threatening. The fact that God speaks to us is clear throughout the pages of Scripture. To some, like Moses, God spoke audibly. To others, like the prophet Elijah, He spoke quietly on at least one occasion.

Often we look for the big events, the earth-shaking circumstances in which God speaks. And many times He is speaking to us, but it is in a still, small voice. We should try turning off the television, the radio, and the cellphones and just listen. With all the noise in our world, with all the information that bombards us, we can hear all those voices but miss the most important voice of all. Maybe one reason we don't hear Him is because we never stop and listen. "The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic." When God Almighty speaks to you in that still, small voice, do you listen? Do you follow His lead?

Prayer
Lord give me strength and courage to step out in faith to possess all that You have freely given to me.

Lord, open my ears to hear your voice, and give me the courage to follow your guidance.
