SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING MATTER TO EVERY CALL

There was a Pastor who had a Choir team and the Choir was the Best Team ever in his Mind. People would not afford to miss their Ministration during Service and at Conferences.

The Pastor died three days before the Youth conference. So the Pastor Cried out to God that he could not Miss the day his Choir was singing and God said you can't go back on earth but the day your choir will be Ministering, I will grant you the Chance to see them Singing on Earth.

So the day came and God fulfilled His promise to the Pastor. What shocked the Pastor was that he could only hear two Female and one Male voice amongst the whole choir. He asked God, “ Why am Ihearing only three person voice yet people are rejoicing with the way they are singing…” and God replied, " here in Heaven we only hear the Voices of those who sing in Truth and in Spirit, also in Right Standing with my Word...". The Pastor Cried and said what about my Wife and Others? God replied," they are doing it for Prestige not for my Sake, so only those on Earth Rejoice but the Heavens are not Moved by that.

Now, many are called into ministry but don't know what a call means, a call into ministry is an assignment given to a person to function in an office. A believer who is called into any ministry should understand the fact that a call is an assignment of duty which is been given to him, and there are three important thing to note;

  • God is the giver of an assignment.
  • Jesus Christ is the strength behind every assignment. (Psalm 118:14) 3. The Holy Ghost is the comforter that guides you through the assignment. (Jn16:13)

Read; Isaiah 42:5-6, "Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it, 6.  I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations. "
( Jesus is the breath, righteousness, strength e.t.c of man)

So many were called into ministry but because they lack knowledge of what a CALL is they were unable to complete ( fulfill) their task, the reason is because of sin.
  • Sin reduced the strengthen to an assignment, ( Rom 6:1)therefore sin limits your speed to carry-on to your task.

  • Sin takes you off-guard, when you are no longer guided then how can you complete the task given to you.

    Remember what the scripture says  in Matthew 22:14 ( For many are called, but few are chosen.) also in 1corinthians, 9:24 ( Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.) Therefore you may be called, yet not chosen,  but run well as a faithful servant that you may obtain the prize.

    (1peter 5:1-10)
1. Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, 2. shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; 3. nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.4. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. 5. You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7. casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.8. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.10. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
