ARE THERE TWO JESUSES?

 OPENING TESTIMONY
One man from Ayetoro Ekiti in Ido Osi local govt of Ekiti state in Nigeria, and he does carpentry work. This man every morning passes in front of a church on his way to work. One day he took a decision that he must go into the Church at the chapel to greet JESUS before going to his work. So each day he  passes the Church he will go to the chapel and say "JESU mo ya ki o ni o "  meaning "JESUS l ‘m here to greet you" he did this for many years and it became part of hm. One day he went to work as usual and fell down from the roof where he was working and had a spinal cord injury, he was taken to many hospitals and there was no remedy to his health and he became paralyzed.

One day at the hospital where he was on his sick bed without hope, his wife left him alone in the room to bring something from the house. A man who dressed in white  walked into the room and greeted him saying, " awe mi mo ya ki o " meaning my friend l have come to greet you. JESUS came to visit him since he couldn't come to visit Him as usual.

And the sick man said Thank You, the visitor left and this man started to notice changes on his body, and to his greatest surprise, he got up and sat down on the bed still thinking if it was a dream when his wife came and saw him sitting down she thought it was a Ghost and raised alarm ran out from the room.

The Doctor and Nurses rushed to the room thinking the sick man is dead, when the Doctor first entered and saw the man sitting comfortably, he also ran back, before he decided to ask him what happened and the healed man told him all that happened, the hospital was full of praises. He was visiting JESUS  daily for many years but one singular visit by JESUS changed his hopelessness to joy!

My brother, sister and Friend who is reading this message, this is a true life testimony. This happened somewhere.! JESUS lives, do not allow any body to deceive you please. The ancient of days,  and Eternal Rock of Ages will visit you as you share this testimony to your contacts.  JESUS  still change's situations today, my dear what is that hopeless situation, turn it over to Him right now. Ask JESUS to come into the situation right now with a simple prayer of faith and He'll do it. Amen.!

ARE THERE TWO JESUSES?
"David your food is getting cold", Sarah called, as her six year old son was glued to his Bible. She snatched the Bible from him angrily. "I've told you I'm late for work!" What are you looking for? For the past week you've been inseparable from this Bible," Sarah said as she helped her son to adjust his school uniform.

"Mom, I can't seem to find my answer , perhaps you can help me." David said.
"Okay but eat first and we can talk in the car." she replied.

On the way to school he asked "Mum, may I ask my question now? "
"Of course ",Sarah replied.
"Mum, are there two Jesuses?"

"What did you say?"
"Are there two Jesuses?", he repeated.
"Who taught you this heresy?", Sarah asked angrily. David knew his mum's temper and started shaking.

"Our new teacher taught us that... "

 Sarah interrupted
"So, your new teacher has been feeding you this nonsense!, David said, "No he said....." "Shut up!!" Sarah interjected"

"I will go and see him myself! I'd rather go to work late than allow this heresy to continue."

When they got to the school, Sarah walked straight to the headteacher's office and demanded that the teacher be sacked because the teacher was leading the children astray with heresies so the teacher was summoned to the office but he denied ever telling the children that there were two Jesuses.

So David, now in tears, was summoned and asked: "Why do you think there are two Jesuses? " Still crying he said: "Our teacher told us that Jesus is our father and his children behave exactly like him. He said Jesus does not steal, lie, fight or stay away from church and his children are the same." "Okay, that's true but that is not enough reason for you to believe that there are two Jesuses ", the headmistress said, wiping David's face. David continued:

"My mum says she is Jesus' daughter, she keeps singing: "I am a child of God", but mum still fights. I saw her take daddy's money last month and when daddy asked her, she lied about it. Also we have not been to church for about five months. Just this morning, she fought with daddy and was very rude to him so I've been thinking that Mummy's Jesus is a different Jesus from my teacher's Jesus; that's why I kept searching my Bible to see if I would find my mummy's Jesus in there. By this time, Sarah was in tears and both the headmistress and David's teacher were yking down in embarrassment! Sarah was so ashamed that she could not look into her son's eyes. Does your character and behaviour make people question whether you serve a 6yyyydifferent Jesus? Are You an example of Christ?

NOAH’S WAITING TIME

Genesis 8 is a chapter encouraging me to wait on the Lord. It is a chapter for those who have done the perfect will of God but who must still wait for the water to dry off before they can enjoy their blessings on dry land. They are the ones that the book of Hebrews had in mind in the admonition “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” (Hebrews 10:36)

Noah had done the will of God and he and his family members were safe in the ark. The thunderous rains have stopped but the flood still filled the whole earth. So Noah must remain in the ark and wait. “And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.” (Genesis 8:6,7) Raven was a scavenger and having been in the ark for so long the sight of dead corpses floating all over was too much for the bird to resist. So Noah can keep waiting while the raven was busy feeding off dead bodies. Lord, help me to learn to wait and never to compare myself with a raven. We do not serve the same purpose and our assignments and focus are not the same.

Next, Noah sent a dove to see the condition of water on the earth. “But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.” (Genesis 8:9) For Noah, waiting continues but unlike the raven that went away from the ark, the dove returned to keep company with the patriarch. Seven days later Noah sent out the dove again. “And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.” (Genesis 8:11) After another seven days waiting he sent out the dove but this time the dove did not return. Then Noah knew that the earth had dried and the waiting days were ended.

Noah was in the ark a year and seventeen days yet he did not leave the ark until the Lord told him to leave. God gave him instructions on what to do thereafter and it is such a joy that the very act of Noah after leaving the ark was to raise an altar of worship to the Lord. “And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:21,22).

The art of waiting on the Lord is no longer fashionable in the world today. But heavenly Father, please help me to learn to wait on You. I want to learn patience too like Noah. I want You to help me to trust you sufficiently to believe You can never forget but will remember me like You did to Noah. In all my dealings and in all my actions, please help me to wait upon Your word and believe You for the best in every situation. Even when days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months and months turn to years, give me the grace to wait. Lord I believe Your word “And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.” (Isaiah 30:18). Today Lord, I will wait patiently for the water to dry so that I can inherit the blessings from You in Jesus name.
