Read: Matthew 10:17-20

MEMORISE: Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it._ (Psalms 81:10)

"But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you_" (Matthew 10:17-20).

The fear of what to say is making so many believers shirk the God-given responsibility of telling the world about Jesus Christ. Some are afraid to preach Christ in the bus, market area, and on the street for fear of what the reaction of their audience would be and even with their lives! You are saved and sanctified and sent to speak for Him *(1 Peter 2:9)*. Whereas, the surest promise in the Scripture is for those who are passionate about witnessing Christ. _"And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen_ (Matthew 28: 20)

It does not cost God anything to raise stone instead of any man who has decided to keep mute when and where he is supposed to speak up for God. Many people can't declare the praise of God publicly, because they are afraid of death, embarrassment, shame, persecution, etc. Stephen defied death and whatever malicious treatment that stared him in the face, to speak the bitter truth of the gospel to his ferocious audience. Though, he was eventually lynched for doing so, the joy is that God was glorified, and he made it to the presence of the Almighty God with standing ovation.

*1.* Holy Spirit, continue to strengthen me to be Your mouth- piece wherever I find myself.
*2.* Lord, release to every believer, the courage and boldness needed to tell the whole world about You, relentlessly.
*3.* Lord, let the light of Your gospel penetrate through every heart in our land, and let it dispel the darkness that is prevalent everywhere.
