Read:  Numbers 35:33,34

MEMORISE: Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man. (Genesis 9:5)

Blood is so important to the living and existence of a man. Particularly, life is in the blood *(Leviticus 17:11)*. Little do people know when they flush out that foetus through abortion, employ herbalists and false prophets to kill fellow humans, give false judgments that unjustly send others to their early graves, do money rituals with human blood, rise to power with human parts, etc., that they defile themselves and their land with blood, and such attracts grievous consequences. Do we also know that blood has a voice that never dies? *(cf. Genesis 4:10)*. The land which takes the blood of the innocent is defiled and accursed, as those who shed the blood *(Genesis 4:11,12)*.

Now, there is a big problem in nations of the world because, the defiled lands belong to God *(Psalms 24:1)* and the bloods that are being shed belong to God *(Genesis 1:27; 2:7)*. No one has right to take them. God dwells in our land and in our hearts *(2 Corinthians 6:16)*. There is double tragedy hereGod is wounded in several ways. Can the land be freed from God's wrath? If one innocent soul cries and God moves, what happens when millions are crying daily? The accursed land will neither bring increase nor know peace.

There is blood flowing in our streets, freely flowing for money, position, and power. The nation is in a situation like the proverbial fowl resting on the rope; the rope is not at ease, neither is the fowl itself. It is a pity that the righteous shares in the punishment of the sinners. Why? We live in the same land. Unless we all repent, unless we all cry and turn to God, we may not know how long these bloods will keep crying for vengeance before the Lord.
Let us content ourselves with what God gives us. Learn to forgive one another. Avoid being unnecessarily envious of others. Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, only, would bail us out. Stop this bloodshed!

1. Lord, have mercy on our land; this defilement is much. Save us, oh Lord.
2.Lord, help all stakeholders to see the need to repent of bloodshed in our nation.
3. Lord, punitively expose the unrepentant ritualists in our churches and government circles, to stop Your wrath upon this nation.
