This interesting prayer was given in Kansas, USA, at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says: "Woe to those who call evil good", but that is exactly what we have done.We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism. We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism. We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.We have abused power and called it politics. We have embezzled public funds and called it essential expenses. We have insitutionalised bribery and called it sweets of office. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.Search us, Oh GOD, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Amen!"The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa and Korea. With the LORD'S help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and WHOLEHEARTEDLY become our desire so that we again can be called "ONE NATION UNDER GOD."

St. John 5:8 Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk."St. John 5:9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath,St. John 5:14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you."Psalms 38:3 Because of your wrath there is no health in my body; there is no soundness in my bones because of my sin. Psalms 38:7 My back is filled with searing pain; there is no health in my body.Psalms 38:8 I am feeble and utterly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.Psalms 38:10 My heart pounds, my strength fails me; even the light has gone from my eyes.God's intention via His Word for today is for us to make a decision to turn from our evil ways that He may equip us with Grace to have dominion over sin. Therefore, a decision to stop sinning is a decision to live sickness free. There is Grace available, but we are the ones to make it happen using God's gift of grace. Jesus, after healing the man at the pool of Bethesda met the same man at the temple and said ''behold thou art made whole, sin no more lest a worse thing come unto thee.'' As long as we keep making provision for sin, the works of darkness shall keep manifesting in our lives. You might be in sin and still have sound health. Does that contradict the topic? No! My bible says ''it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because His compassion faileth not.'' Lam 3:22 But, shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound? Rom6:1 The Holy Ghost asked me saying ''If there is a place called heaven, wouldn't you love to go there?''We are a people running to hell with our eyes opened. The Jesus that can't influence your lifestyle is not the one that came from heaven. The pleasures of life in this world are temporal but God says at His right hand are pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16:11 .Eternity with God will give us eternal pleasure. Eternity with satan will give us eternal suffering. David said, his strength fails him because light is gone out from his eyes. His eyes were not single and so his body could not be filled with light. Matthew 6:22 KJV The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. You can't claim to be looking at God and at the same time have your eyes glued to a naked woman like David. A process was suspended. He suspended God(light) and engaged the works of darkness. He disconnected from His source and strength left him. There was no health in his body. When the source of health leaves you, sound health is interrupted and what is left is ill health. David said ''there is no soundness in my bones because of my sin.''We steal money that is eventually spent in hospitals, either on ourselves or loved ones. Let's stop that! David took from Uriah and God took His child. If you want to enjoy sound health do the right thing.Someone has just read this and wants to surrender to Jesus. That's the best decision for the hour and eternity with Jesus is guaranteed! Receive Grace to remain connected to Light in Jesus name! Amen. It is Jesus that heals and guarantees divine health.

...he went out...and there prayed...Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also...Mark 1:35,38 Satan's main strategy is to capture the world into groups of "strongholds" which think in a certain way, so that he can lead them into self-destruction. The great philosophies of this world: humanism, atheism, communism and Marxism are manifestations of the imaginations of the devil. These imaginations (trends of thinking), lead masses of people into selfdestruction (2 Corinthians 10:4, 5).Ministers must understand the role of the Word in spiritual warfare and must ensure that the Word of God gains pre-eminence. As the Word of God increases, Satan loses his grip over the souls. Read this amazing Scripture and believe in the power of the Word (Acts 6:7).As the Word of God increases, the number of Christians will multiply. That is why I write books and preach as hard as I can and as many times as possible. I know what it does to the kingdom of darkness.Christian leaders must use the two-pronged weapon of prayer and the Word to defeat Satan in spiritual warfare. True ministry is the ministry of the Word and prayer. The apostles practised this! They refused to be drawn away from the ministry of the Word and prayer. The best example of spiritual warfare was Christ Jesus. He taught and He prayed. If we want to have the results that Jesus had, we must use the methods that He used; His methods were praying and teaching.

Whose Son Are You? :
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God (KJV).The word omnipotent comes from omni- meaning "all" and potent meaning "power." God has all power over all things at all times and in all ways. Nowhere is God's omnipotence seen more clearly than in creation. God said, "Let there be…" and it was so (Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, etc.). Man needs tools and materials to create; God simply spoke, and by the power of His word, everything was created from nothing. "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth" (Psalm 33:6). God's power is also seen in the preservation of His creation. All life on earth would perish were it not for God's continual provision. The seas which cover most of the earth, and over which we are powerless, would overwhelm us if God did not proscribe their limits (Job 38:8-11). Job spoke of God's power in Job 42:2: "I know that you can do all things and that no plan of yours can be thwarted." Moses, too, was reminded by God that He had all power to complete His purposes regarding the Israelites: "The LORD answered Moses, 'Is the Lord's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you.'" God's omnipotence extends to governments and leaders (Daniel 2:21), as He restrains them or lets them go their way according to His plans and purposes. His power is unlimited in regard to Satan and his demons. Satan's attack on Job was limited to only certain actions (Job 1:12; 2:6). Jesus reminded Pilate that he had no power over Him unless it had been granted to him by the God of all power (John 19:11). Our Father is powerful. Yes He is. So there is no need to shake and fear. Let us walk with confidence because nobody can snatch us from God's mighty wings! Almighty God, indeed there is nobody whose power equals Yours. My prayer is that secure life in You and let Your power influence me in everything I do. In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.

Luke 5:5-6 And Simon answering said unto HIM, Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at THY Word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes and their NET BRAKE. Human as we are, sometimes we are tempted to believe that our efforts, strength, money, connections, knowledge, qualification, beauty, etc can really take us far, and so there is no need to seek spiritual guidance or help. In all thy ways acknowledge HIM (Pro 3:5). Unfortunately, we get stacked at a point and our effort seem to fail. The power of GOD begins where your effort fails, because GOD cannot share HIS glory with any other. Peter used all his fishing skills and tips but got nothing but, when JESUS the SON of the living GOD stepped in, he caught more that his net could ever handle. You might have tried all you know to become successful in your marriage, ministry, finances, Christian life, fruit of the womb and many more, but you seem not to get results. Talk to JESUS today and one word from HIM will transform your life forever. The same place you failed will be where HE will glorify HIMSELF. Whatever you have been unable to do for years, by the grace of GOD you will do it and do more to HIS glory. And JESUS looking upon them saith, with men it is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible.

‘The Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me.’ Acts 20:23 NIV
About 75 per cent of believers now live in developing countries, often in anti-Christian environments. Xu Yonghai is one of them. He worked to see the legalisation of house churches in China. The government responded by locking him up for two years in an cell 2.4 metres square in a Beijing prison. There was no bathroom, only a pipe in a corner from which water flowed onto the concrete. ‘My cell was the last stop for prisoners sentenced to die,’ he said. ‘At times there were as many as three other prisoners in the tiny damp room, awaiting their date with the executioner.’ Yonghai survived through prayer, meditation and writing. Using a bar of soap to write on the walls of his cell, he outlined the major points of a book about God. When he was finished, he committed the thoughts to memory, and upon his release he turned his prison notes into a fifty-thousand-word book entitled God the Creator. More often than not, your difficulties and hardships confirm you’re in the will of God rather than out of it! Paul writes: ‘I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me―the task of testifying to the Gospel of God’s grace.’ (Acts 20:23–24 NIV) Note the word grace. No matter how difficult the will of God may be, you can accomplish it by drawing each day on His limitless supply of grace.

Hebrews 5:9–10 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” When Jesus died and rose again, He became our High Priest. But notice that Jesus’ priesthood is “according to the order of Melchizedek”. Why the Melchizedek priesthood? The Melchizedek priesthood gives to man (whereas the Aaronic priesthood takes from man). We see this when Melchizedek gave bread and wine to refresh a tired Abraham after his battle with the enemy kings. (Genesis 14:14–20) So if Jesus’ priesthood is according to the Melchizedek order, then it is one in which we can come boldly into His presence to receive from Him! (Hebrews 4:16) Moreover, the first word from Melchizedek’s mouth was “Blessed”—“Blessed be Abram…” (Genesis 14:19) The Melchizedek order is just that—blessings. In other words, Jesus’ priesthood is one which blesses and never curses us! So are we conscious of Jesus our High Priest giving to us every day? Are we alert to all His blessings coming from heaven toward us on earth? Now, it is easy for us to believe God for His blessings in creation. For example, we have no difficulty believing that the sun will rise every morning. But while we have no problems believing the work of creation, we have problems believing the work of redemption. We sometimes find it hard to believe God for healing, provision, favor, protection or restoration— *blessings that Jesus died to give us.* We don’t really believe that every day, the Lord will take care of us, keep our bodies healthy and provide for all our needs. Yet, creation is fallen. It can be a blessing as well as a curse. Sometimes, a storm arises, and powerful winds and rains destroy thousands of homes and lives. Sometimes, dark clouds hide the sun and make the whole day gloomy. My friend, we can’t put our trust in creation, but we can certainly put our trust in redemption. And unlike creation, the blessings of redemption are all good! The work of Jesus is not subject to the weather or anything else. The work of redemption is as sure as Jesus Himself. He died and rose again to be our High Priest who daily showers us with blessings!

The adage, "Show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are" clearly depict that, whatsoever company an individual works with, that individual will be subjected to criticism or applaud, because of the company of those people he/she is surrounded by. Also, the expression, "Birds of the same feather flock together" could serve as an impeccable premise for the conclusion that, one's circle of interaction has the power to determine an individual's personality. It's now an awakening fact that environment plays a great role in shaping the lives of people. As such, one must be conscious of the people that fall within his/her circle in everyday life, as there are people with lifestyle extremely manipulative that can either build or damage one's lucrative delivery to society. If you're an optimist thirsting after greatness, and the circle you find yourself is extorting value from your honourable personality while adding no meaning to your existence in that circle, I advice you redefine that circle. Your personality and lucrative growth is of greater essence than any mindless group of futile farmers. Gaining absolutely nothing positive from your circle of friends or what have you is of tremendous loss to a great mind that is future minded. Therefore, if any of these postulates is evident in your life, it's high time you redefined that circle.I hereby seal the lips of my humble pen for today's article, by leaving you with these words, 'It would be better to stand alone on a stage to deliver your greatness to the world, than to share a stage with a network of mediocre."

The following are the guidelines for inspiring your children to greatness:
1. When entering the house greet your children or even hug them. This should help develop their sense of love and self worth.
2. Be good to your neighbours and never backbite. Never speak ill of other drivers when on the road. Your children listen, absorb and emulate.
3. When calling your parents, encourage your children to speak to them. When visiting your parents take your children with you. The more they see you take care of your parents the more they will learn to take care of you.
4. When driving them say to school, don't always play albums or cds. Rather, tell them the stories yourself. This will have a greater impact - trust me!
5. Read to them a short story and  even a scripture a day – it doesn't take much time, but very impactful in creating strong bonds and wonderful memories.
6. Comb your hair, clean your teeth and wear presentable cloths even if sitting at home and not going out for the day. They need to learn that being clean and tidy has nothing to do with going out!
7. Try not to blame or comment on every word or action they say or do. Learn to overlook and let go sometimes. This certainly builds their self-confidence.
8. Ask your children's permission before entering their rooms. Don't just knock and enter, but then wait for a verbal permission. They will learn to do the same when wanting to enter your room.
9. Apologize to your children if you made a mistake. Apologizing teaches them to be humble and polite.
10. Don't be sarcastic or make fun of their views or feelings, even if you "didn't mean it" and was "only joking". It really hurts.
11. Show respect to your children's privacy. Its important for their sense of value and self-esteem.
12. Don't expect that they will listen or understand the first time. Don't take it personally. But be patient and consistent.
13.Pray with them. Show them how to pray. Lead by example.

There are names of sixteen (16) books of the bible hidden in the paragraph below. Let me see how many you can find. A preacher found 15 books in twenty minutes; it took him 3 weeks just to find the 16th one, HAVE FUN! I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. A certain luke, kept people looking so hard for facts, and for others, it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a job. We want it to be a most fascinating little moment for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help find them. I will  quickly admit it usually takes the preacher to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how you will compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen books of the Bible in this paragraph. LIST THE 16 BOOKS HAPPY SEARCHING!

One of the worsening trend in this present imaginative conjecture is the term hate speech syndrome. Then, what is hate speech? From my ideology , hate speech is a slanderous expression or statement which is aim at damaging a person's reputation and dignity . Due to fact that everyone has freedom of expression does not mean that you can abuse anyone anyhow. The law didn't state that you should abuse anyone . This is a great crime against nature . Hate speech is commonly among the political industry in which each party sees his or her counterpart as a great enemy . This should not be . You cannot always win.

The following are the causes of hate speech:
1) Unhealthy rivalry : When there is unhealthy competition among one another .This may be economical, political, national , international, religious, racism and ethnicity. Unhealthy relationship promotes hate speech .
2) Lack of love : You cannot speak ills of the person you love wholeheartedly. Hatred begins when love dispairs. There is nothing you cannot do to the person you hate . You can kill , you can destroy and even tear the person with your pen or words .
3) Selfish ambition : When you are too carnal and over ambitious there is tendency for you to commit unnecessary pronouncement. To be realistic most people that commit hate speech offences are people that are too selfish in their ambition.
4) Abuse of social media : Due to the fact that everyone has access to the internet nowadays. Many jargons do appear on internet. Can you imagine a person representing his president with animal of any shape ? This is unethical and contary to common sense.
5) Lack of trust : Lack of trust do promote hate speech . When you do not trust one another . Hatred can spill when there is distrust . Watchout for the level of faithfulness and confidence when you are in leadership position .

1) Law : The three arms of government should be on deck . Law should be enacted against hate speech . The law enforcement section of the country should put into constitution and severe punishment for the law breakers.
2) Religious Organisation : Religious organisation should preach against it in their congregation.
3) Open broadcast : The media should enlighten and educate people on hate speech .

Kick against hate speech today . When something is totally wrong it is wrong  and no cover up excuse .

ANCHOR QUOTE: "A life without vision is a life without mission, howbeit the greatest measure is to invest in the kingdom's treasure. Every calling is great but the one with purpose is unique " - Adewale Osunsakin

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love...” – Heb.6:10 . I haven’t done anything for God is our zeal? the same thing arises in the heart of followers of God. God not only delights in the great works of God but very much concerned about the people who gives a cup of water/a jar of water for his kingdom.  He rewards them.  Let us see about the great miracles that are received out of least work done for God as in the scripture.  Hence the famine lasted the entire country it was the last day for the use of flour in the house of widow of Zariphath. She was baking the flour with little water with tears in her eyes having no more flour to prepare more cakes. She stated son this was the last meal. Afterwards we have to die murmured the mother and leaned at the wall. Within few seconds the prophet entered the verandah. He asked for a cake. Of course, nobody will like such words of “bring me a cake” in the time of famine.Thinking, how to feed themselves after giving a cake to the prophet opened the opener of the pan and found the flour was full in the jar being multiplied. The flour lasted until the end of famine. She gave the prophet a little cake. But God looked at her sacrifice. She did not know that the flour and oil would multiply.  Without expecting anything she gave the prophet the cake.  In the end, she got the endless goodness. You may think that will God see this little thing? Your sacrificial offer of money or materials in the midst of pains, sickness to others will never be forgotten by God. God never forgets your offer even if it were a jar of water or a cake. Even your effort of collecting money or things for the ministry will be remembered.  All things have the rewards. "For our conversation is in heaven from whence we look for our Savior: the Lord Jesus Christ" ( Phil 3 :20). Paul here gives a metaphor of citizenship in which he says our citizenship is in heaven. Here on this world we foreigners, we are just ambassadors of Christ .We represent Him on this world. The word conversation in Greek means the rights and privileges of a citizen We as foreigners we don't have the rights and privileges of the system of this world. Our rights and privileges are in heaven. Just like an ambassador his renumeration comes from the country he represents. He doesn't enjoy the benefits rights tand privileges of the country he is accredited to.As ambassadors of Christ our renumeration comes from above. The world cannot reward us.Its system is evil. Whatever is produced by that system is defiled. Brethren don't be fooled all blessings are our Lord. They are not of this world. Anything from this world is but Satan's invention. God is there to bless us in time and in eternity if we remain true ambassadors. We are only connected to this world as ambassadors. Nothing more must expect from it. Most believers  are caught in the system of this world. One cannot distinguish between evil systems and God's. Our minds should get away from the things of the world and start to think heaven where we get our rewards. God bless you.

1 Corinthians 6:19 : What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:20 :For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. A certain time ago, the Holy Spirit opened my mind to understand that if only we obey God's commandments and do His will as He instructs us per time, all will be well with everyone one of us. After man fell by sinning against God in the beginning, the devil took charge over the lives of men because they were sinners and so, his disciples. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and His blood which was shed was the currency used to purchase everyone of us back to God. This is the costliest transaction ever done. After this purchase, man's loyalty was supposed to shift back to God whom they now belong to, but still, regardless, some have refused to turn to God their Savior. We don't belong to ourselves or the devil, we belong to God. In contemporary football, let's assume you're watching a match between Arsenal and Chelsea. I don't think you can ever see an Arsenal player switch club and suddenly begin to play for Chelsea while the match is going on. Why? Because his loyalty at that time is to Arsenal. The club bought him and so his payment will come from them. His act of switching to the other club while the match is going on, may cost him his job and at the end of the day, he'll be at loss because Chelsea club won't pay him because he isn't their official player, so he suffers. You can't claim to be an Arsenal player, yet while on the football pitch, you switch and begin to play for the opposition team and yet you expect Arsenal club to be responsible for your actions, No! They won't be. Infact, unless the act was unintentional, that's a good ground for termination of your contract with them. We'll continue tomorrow by God's grace but the question today is, while you're on the pitch of this world, who do you play for? God, yourself or the devil, because whoever you play for is who is responsible for you.The football example used was simply ideal because one of the various terms used in the football world is buying of players. They buy players from one club to another, and once you are bought by a particular club from another club, your loyalty to the previous club ends because you now belong to the club that bought you. The rules and regulations that used to apply in your previous club may not be applicable in your new club therefore, there is need for you to adjust and adapt to the rules of the new club. According to our text, God used the blood of Jesus to buy us from the club of the devil to the kingdom of God. Now ideally, when a footballer is purchased from a club to another, he isn't forcefully carried to the new club, he has to sign a contract agreeing to the transaction willingly, until he signs the contact and gives his consent to the transaction, the transaction remains invalid. The same applies to God's purchase of man. Until you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the purchase isn't effective upon your life. But once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the transaction is finalized. Beloved born again Brothers and Sisters, you are not your own, you have been bought with a price, are you still playing for the devil in your dealings with your body, which ought now to be the temple of the Holy Ghost? Often times when you try to talk about Christian's dealings with their bodies, their defense is that it's their bodies so they can do whatever they like with it. Are you saved? Well your body belongs to God and not you. Sicknesses can't thrive in the temple of the Holy Ghost. Demons can't dwell in the temple of the Holy Ghost, light has no association whatsoever with darkness. Yield your body to God, begin to play for God your ideal and original club and your cleansing and purification will become His sole responsibility.

Don't get it twisted. The saying still remains the same. I just want to clearify somethings from my own perspective. To start with, what is light? Light is a source of illumination. It is an appearance of brightness that paves way. Knowledge is the fact of knowing about something; awareness, familiarity. Takeda Shingen said; *knowledge is not power, it is only potential*. A knowledge that is not applied is a waste. Having the knowledge of something does not mean you will achieve that thing. If the knowledge you have is applied then twill be achieved. A lot of people have the idea of something but have refused to move an inch from having potentials to practicalizing the potentials.Potential exists in possibility not in actuality.Apply the knowledge you have and make it real. Stop assuming. Some assume they know it and can do it but have never tried it. With God by your side, you can make it real. People say no knowledge is lost; but I stand out to say that a knowledge that is not applied is/will be lost.

Dear All- Let's be real.
I wish to start by adding the benefit of my time as a student and then resident in the UK. Living in Abuja now. The first thing that I discovered about UK-born, white, English undergraduates was that all of them did holiday or weekend job to support themselves – including the children of millionaires amongst them. It is the norm over there – regardless of how wealthy their parents are. And I soon discovered that virtually all other foreign students did the same – except status – conscious Nigerians.I also watched Richard Branson (owner of Virgin Airline) speaking on the Biography Channel. To my amazement, he said that his young children travel in the economy class – even when the parents (he and his wife) are in upper class. Richard Branson is a billionaire in Pound sterling. A quick survey would show you that only children from Nigeria fly business or upper class to commence their studies in the Uk. No other foreign students do this. There is no aircraft attached to the office of the Prime Minister in the UK. He travels on BA. And the same goes for the Royals. The Queen does not have an aircraft for her exclusive use. These practices simply become the culture which the next generation carries forward. Have you seen the car that Kate Middleton (the wife of Prince William) drives? VW Golf or something close to it. But there’s one core difference between them and us (generally speaking), they (even the billionaires among them) work for their money, most of us steal ours .If we want our children to bring about the desired change we have been praying for on behalf of our dear country, then please, please let’s begin now and teach them to work hard so they can stand alone and most importantly be content and not having to "steal” which seems to be the norm these days. We have Nigerian Children who have never worked for 5 minutes in their lives insisting on flying “only” first or business class and using the latest cars fully paid for by their “loving “ parents. I often get calls from anxious parents”my son graduated 2 years ago and is still looking for a job, can you please assist!” “Oh really! So where exactly is “THIS CHILD?” is my usual question. “Why are you the one making this call dad/mum? I am yet to get a satisfactory answer, but between you and me, chances are that the big boy is cruising around Abuja with a babe dresses to the nines, in his dad’s spanking new SUV with enough “pocket money” to put your salary to shame. It is not at all strange to hear a 28 year old who has NEVER worked for a day in his or her life in Nigeria but “earns” a six figure “salary” from parents for doing absolutely nothing I see them in my office once in a while, 26 years old with absolutely no skill to sell apart from a shiny CV, written by his dad’s secretary in the office. Of course, he has a driver at his beck and call and he is driven to the job interview. We have a fairly decent conversation and we get to the inevitable question- so, what salary are you looking to earn? Answer comes straight out – N250,000.00. I ask if that is per month or per annum. “Of course, it is per month” “Oh, why do you think you should be earning that much on your first job?” “Well, because my current pocket money is N200,000.00 and I feel any employer should be able to pay me more than my parents.”No wonder corruption continues to thrive. We have a society of young people who have been brought up to expect something for nothing, as if it were a birthright. Even though the examples I have given above are from parents of considerable affluence, similar patterns can be observed from Abeokuta to Adamawa.Wake up mum! Wake up dad! This syndrome – “my children will not suffer what I suffered is destroying your tomorrow. You are practically loving your child to death.I learnt the children of a former Nigeria Head of State with all the stolen(billions) monies in their custody, still go about with security escort as wrecks. They are on drugs, several time because of the drug, they collapse in public places. The escort will quickly pack them and off they go. What a life! No one wants to  marry them.Henry Ford said “hard work does not kill.” We are getting everything wrong in Nigeria now, including family setting. It is time to prepare your children for tomorrow, the way the world is going, only thosei that are rugged, hard working and smart working that will survive. How will your ward fare? Think.

You are about to read ten lesson on marriage;
Only God has no weakness. Every rose flower has its own thorn. If you focus too much on your spouse’s weakness, you can’t get the best out of his/her strength.
No one is an angel, therefore, avoid digging one’s past. What matters is the present life of your partner. Old things are passed away. Try to forgive and forget. The past can’t be changed. So focus on the present and the future!
Marriage is not bed of roses. Every shining marriage has gone through its own test of hot and excruciating fire. True love is proved in time of challenge. Fight for your marriage! Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in time of needs. Remember this is the vow you made on your wedding day!
Don’t compare your marriage with anyone! We can never be equal, some will be far in front and others far behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time, your marriage dreams shall come true.
When you marry, you must declare a war against enemies of marriage. Some of the enemies of marriage are: Ignorance, Rumours,  Prayerlessness, Unforgiveness, Adultery, Third Party Influence, Stinginess, Stubbornness, Lack Of Love, Rudeness, Wife battery, Laziness, winning, nagging, PRIDE,  Divorce etc. Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage zone.
There is no ready made marriage anywhere. Marriage is hard work, volunteer yourself and perfect it daily. Marriage is like a MOTOR CAR with a gear oil, gear box, etc If these parts are not properly maintained, the car will break down somewhere along the road and expose the occupant to unhealthy circumstances. – Many of us are careless about our marriage… Are you? If you are, please pay attention to your marriage.
God gives you, her or him in form of raw materials in order for you to mold what you desire. You may desire a woman who can pray for 1 hour but your wife can only pray for 30 minutes. With your love, prayer and encouragement, she can improve.
You cannot predict what will happen after marriage, as situation may change, so, leave a room for adjustment. Pregnancy may not come in the next 4 years. You may get married to her because she's slim but she becomes a little fat after a child. He may lose his beautiful job for years that you have to take the financial responsibility of the family until he gets a new job. But with God by your side, you will smile at long last.
Marriage needs total commitment, love is the glue that makes a couple stick together. Divorce starts in the mind. Never think of divorce! Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married! God hates divorce, though it’s permitted only in extreme cases.
Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money you deposit into your bank account that you can withdrawn. If you don’t deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate of a blissful home. There is no free love in marriage, You cannot love without giving and sacrificing. May God grant us the grace and wisdom to succeed in it. Amen .

Talk to your children. It is never too soon. It doesn’t have to be a scary conversation. Don’t wait another day. Start these conversations today. Here are the 10 most important areas to cover:
1. Talk about body parts early.
Name body parts and talk about them early – very early. Use proper names for body parts – or at least teach your child what the actual words are for their body parts. I can’t tell you how many young children I have worked with who have called their vagina their “bottom” and other various names. If a child needs to make a disclosure of abuse – this can make their story confusing.
2. Teach them that body parts are private.
Tell your child that their private parts are called private because their private parts are not for everyone to see. Explain that mommy and daddy can see them naked, but people outside of the home should only see them with their clothes on. Explain how their doctor can see them without their clothes because mommy and daddy are there with them and the doctor is checking their body.
3. Teach your child body boundaries.
Tell your child matter-of-factly that no one should touch their private parts and that no one should ask them to touch somebody else’s private parts. Parents will often forget the second part of this sentence. Sexual abuse often begins with the perpetrator asking the child to touch them or someone else.
4. Tell your child that body secrets are not okay.
Most perpetrators will tell the child to keep the abuse a secret. This can be done in a friendly way such as, “I love playing with you, but if you tell anyone else what we played they won’t let me come over again” or as a threat – “This is our secret. If you tell anyone I will tell them it was your idea and you will get in big trouble!” Tell your child that no matter what anyone tells them, body secrets are not okay. Let your child know that they should always tell you if someone makes them keep a body secret.
5. Tell your child that no one should take pictures of their private parts.
This one is often missed by parents. There is a whole sick world out there of pedaphiles who love to take and trade pictures of naked children online. This is an epidemic and it puts your child at risk. If you only talk about body safety you might be missing a risk factor. Tell your child that no one should ever take pictures of their private parts.
6. Teach your child how to get out of scary or uncomfortable situations.
Some children are uncomfortable with telling people “No” – especially older peers or adults. Help give them excuses to get out of uncomfortable situations. Tell your child that if someone wants to see or touch private parts they can tell them that they need to leave to go potty.
7. Have a code word your child can use when they feel unsafe or want to be picked up.
As children get a little bit older, you can give them a code word that they can use when they are feeling unsafe. This can be used at home, when there are guests in the house or when they are on a playdate or a sleepover.
8. Tell your child they will never be in trouble if they tell you a body secret.
Children often tell me that they didn’t say anything because they thought they would get in trouble too. This is often reiterated by the perpetrator. Tell your child that no matter what happens – when they tell you anything about body safety or body secrets they will NEVER get in trouble.
9. Tell your child that a body touch might tickle or feel good.
Many parents and books talk about “good touch – bad touch” – but usually these touches do not hurt or feel bad. Try and stay away from these phrases, as it can confuse a child that is “tickled” in their private parts. I prefer the term “secret touch” – as it is a more accurate depiction of what might happen.
10. Tell your child that even if they know someone or even if it is another child – these rules are the same.
This is an important point to discuss with your child. When you ask a young child what a “bad guy” looks like they will most likely describe a cartoonish villain. Be sure to mention to your child that no one can touch their private parts. You can say something like, “No one should touch your private parts. Mommy and daddy might touch you when we are cleaning you or if you need cream – but no one else should touch you there. Not friends, not aunts or uncles, not teachers or coaches – no one. Even if you like them or think they are in charge, they should still not touch your private parts.”
I am not na├»ve enough to believe that these discussions will absolutely prevent sexual abuse, but I know that children are at a much greater risk without these talks. knowledge is a powerful deterrent to childhood sexual abuse – especially with young children who are targeted due to their innocence and ignorance in this area. Have these discussions often. One discussion is not enough. This is a topic that should be revisited again and again. Find natural times to reiterate these messages – such as bath time or when they are running around naked.
This can be a life altering article for some families and it has the power to prevent some horrific and traumatic experiences.

Watched a movie called "Zero Account". From the quality and look of the movie I was already discouraged. As the movie progressed the Lord open my eyes to see a deeper meaning. A devoted Christian was going on a journey. In the bus he was with some unbelievers and unfortunately there was a crash. Of all the passengers in the bus, he was the only one that died while some of the unbelievers left that same bus without so much as a scratch. The Pastor of his church was so bitter that he cried unto God asking why he would take him at his young age and leave the unbelievers. At that instant, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in human form and showed him the life of the young man after death. The young man was taken to hell with an angel of the Lord. While they were there, the angel told him that his life was a wasted investment unto God and because of him so many people had been cast away in hell. He was surprised. A demon arose and called his roommate in the university. It was shown that his roommate wanted him to show him the way of God on the night he was to be initiated into a cult but he said he couldn't because he was late for fellowship. That same night his roommate was killed during the initiation by a rival cult. He never got to hear the word of God from him. The demon called another name and a woman came forward. She was his close friend during his youth service year. People even used to call them husband and wife. So many times she invited him to clubs and parties but never did he invite her to church. On the last day of camp on their way going home, she saw a tract in the cab they boarded. The outline said "Jesus the way, the truth, and the life". She begged him to explain to her but he was angry because he lost his flash drive at the stadium. Even when they got to their destination she kept on begging him to tell her more but he refused and promised to call her the next day. She left sad and distraught. On her way home alone she had an accident and she died. She also died without the knowledge of Christ from him. Once again, the demon called out another name. His own biological sister came out. He was shocked. He was already in tears when he saw the others but when he saw his sister he wept uncontrollably. She lived a wayward life, always drinking and partying. He always condemned her but he never introduced her to Christ. She had an abortion one day and it went wrong. On the hospital bed, someone came to preach to her but he sent the person out. Even in pains she begged him for forgiveness and for him to preach to her but he turned deaf ears to her pleas. On that same bed she lost her life without the knowledge of Christ. After these three people had given their accounts, he wept bitterly because he had so many opportunities to preach to them but he didn't. Their blood was on his hands. After this was done, the angel took him to Heaven, to the hall of judgment where they met another angel. The Angel explained to him that for everyone that didn't go to hell, they would come to the hall of judgment before they would be given access to Heaven where their works would be tested in fire to check the quality. Those whose works had strong content and good foundation, their works would remain. But those whose works had no tangible content, it would be burnt completely in the fire. When his works was tested, it was burnt completely. He was shocked. The moral to that has been compiled up there is this: You can serve God from January till December, you can pray 24/7, you can go on an all year fasting, you can clean the church with your body day in day out, you can speak all the tongues known to man and in the spirit BUT if you do not evangelize and preach the word of God, all you've done is nothing. Even a sinner can attend service, even a sinner can clean the church. The primary function of a Christian on earth is to bear fruits. In the story above, the young man didn't achieve destiny, he didn't fulfill purpose, he didn't preach the gospel... He did NOTHING!!! Absolutely nothing. He was a wasted investment because he didn't impact any life on earth. I know this has been a long article but I hope in my heart and in my soul that this has touched even just one person. This is a wakeup call to ALL christians . Let's us stop acting nonchalantly. To as many that have read this, PLEASE rebroadcast it might save someone's heart.and i pray that; May God bless you  and keep you to fullfill God's purpose on earth. May God's  goodness, and favour remain with you now and forever more. Amen

It is not only those that 'fly' at night that are witches, there are people that think, talk and behave like witches... Just so you know, w‎itchcraft is the collaborative manifestation of envy, jealousy, wickedness and bitterness. At the root of witchcraft manifestation is a person who is bitter, unforgiving, atrociously jealous and envious of others.
1. When you look for ways to dismiss the testimonies and the good news of other people. You are a witch-in-the-making.2. When you consciously spread evil report about someone. You are a witch-in-the-making.3. When you are not comfortable with, and you feel threatened by the lifting, success and promotion of other people... You are a witch-in-the-making.4. When you wish evil and misfortune for someone else, and there are people you have vowed NEVER to forgive for what they did to you.. You are a witch-in-the-making.5. If you enjoy manipulating people to become or to do what you desire, as if they don't have a mind or will of their own.. You are a witch-in-the-making.6. If you enjoy dominating and oppressing people just to show how 'powerful' you are (even if you are a Pastor or 'religious' leader)... You are a witch-in-the-making.7.  When you hate those whom God is blessing or you deliberately stop relating with them.. You are a witch-in-the-making.

How much do you know your master you're serving, how conversant are you with his words. As a servant move closer to his boss so will he know more about his wants, likes and otherwise. The more we move closer to God the more you realized you've not known him all, the more you obey him and his chastisement the clearer your path be. But forget not that he his a father and he chastised in love, never you take his love we called GRACE for granted. Passing through some hard times and challenges, remember you have a father you can always run to and count on. As a single brother, your friends have been ignoring you saying you're not civilized cos you're not flirting around with ladies and even some ladies calling you impotent cos you're not giving in to their request don't be moved cos all these pressure may cause your destruction. Sisters you may be pressurized by your colleagues that you need to be among or even your man's family saying you must be pregnant before marriage, never give in to such cos they are not the planner of your life or designer of your destiny. You must put God first in everything you do and fear him Ps 25:14 .Remember our body is the temple of God which must not be defiled, you already know the truth so don't be deceived cos the end is destruction. Eccl 10:8 .Samson was a great warrior but once he broke the hedge falling in love with a Philistine lady when he has already being warned not to, later end up captured by his enemies and was despised and mocked.Joseph was to break an hedge as well but he controlled and disciplined himself, had it been he fell and fornicate with Portiphar's wife that might have been the end story of Joseph in the bible and might not have fulfilled destiny.God's plans for your life is great, stay with him till the very end and never you be moved by any distraction if you really want to become an attraction.Just a word given this morning by the most high to us we youth and singles, may God give us a hearken ears and a patience spirit.

SCHOOL NEWS: JAMB pegs varsity admission cut-off mark at 120, poly 100.The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120.The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions.JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions. He called for the adoption of flexible cut-off marks for admission processes by higher institutions in the country. He said, “What JAMB has done is to recommend; we will only determine the minimum, whatever you determine as your admission cut-off mark is your decision.“The Senate and academic boards of universities should be allowed to determine their cut-off marks.”The registrar said the board discovered over 17,160 illegally admitted students by higher institutions, adding that the body had regularised some of them.He said, “30 per cent of those in higher institutions do not take JAMB or have less than the cut-off marks.“The admission process is now automated with direct involvement of the registrar of JAMB for final approval. “We have agreed to regularise admissions that were done under the table this year. From next year, we will not accept anything like that.”The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, described as a mistake the Federal Government’s ban on tests conducted by universities after the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations. He explained that post-UTME was banned because it had become an avenue for corruption. Adamu however encouraged higher institutions to conduct aptitude tests for candidates seeking admission and pegged the fee for the test at N2,000

YORUBA FOR SURE: The first Nigerian Lawyer (Sapara Williams- Yoruba) , first Civil Engineer (Herbert Macaulay- Yoruba), first Medical Doctor in Nigeria ( Nathaniel King- Yoruba) , first female (SAN Folake Solanke- Yoruba), Africa's first Professor of Criminology ( Femi Odekunle- Yoruba) Africa's first female Chartered Accountant (Toyin Olakunri- Yoruba), first Bishop(Samuel Ajayi Crowther- Yoruba) even Nigeria's undisputed millionaire (Candida Da Rocha- Yoruba, first CJN Sir Adetokunbo Ademola- Yoruba.  One vagabond called Nnamdi Kanu now said Yoruba's are fools, he said anybody attending Yoruba pastored churches is a fool, funny enough we have some guys bearing Yoruba names and supporting Kanu's foolish statement on Yoruba's, simply because they hates APC government.Well, not everybody with eyes can see, most people walk with their eyes, that's where FFK and Fayose belonged. How FFK's father died is still fresh(was he buried in Ife? Never). If anybody can wake up one day and insult a race as great as Yoruba and we've some elements backing him for political reasons, then the bastard child just woke up. You can't abuse my father and expect me to respect you. APC is a political party and not a race, Yoruba is not a political party, therefore the difference is clear. Nigeria is a zoo in Kanu's view, meaning his parents are animals within if I've to reply him.No matter who you are you can't insult my race, I will hate you with passion and those supporting you will be in my black book. Isola o go, oju la n ti fun'ra wa, Kanu should go back to his parents for tutorial, ago lo fe ko eyele po mo adie, asa ki i s'egbe eyek'eye.

LIFE TRACT+ A song popular in heaven and hell: Of course I know that that sounds incredible. Heaven and hell are two opposite places. Perhaps a sharper contrast is the conditions prevalent in the two places. One is a place of unimaginable beauty, enjoyment and splendour, while the other is a place of burning in a most horrific manner. Hell (and by extension the lake of fire) and heaven are two places that display the supremacy of God, who will punish sinners in an unimaginable way and will cause the saints to enjoy beyond their dreams. There is going to be a song that will be popular in both places. The people in heaven will sing it in a joyful mood while the people in hell will sing it in a sorrowful mood. The lyrics of the song will certainly vary but these sentences will be prominent in all the version and moods. “God is faithful, God is just. He tried enough for me. I had my chances and I made my choices.” Every human being from Adam to the last man on earth will sing this song. When all souls that ever lived on the earth shall stand before God (the righteous and faithful judge) and must have received their judgement, these words will flow freely in their mouths irrespective of whether they are going to heaven or to hell.On the last day, when the sinner is reminded every opportunity for repentance the Merciful God gave him on earth and he shunned them all; when he remembers how every now and then, preachers “disturb” him through the mass media (radio, television, magazines, tracts, internet etc.), in the bus, in school with preaching of the gospel; when he remembers how he kept on saying “I will take the decision for Christ tomorrow” or even at times chase them away raining curses on them; when he remembers how the last opportunity to repent came and went without any positive response; when he remembers all those things, he would cry aloud saying. “Had I know, I would have …”. But deep down inside him, he will say “But this God really tried enough. I had enough chances but never made any reasonable choice”. Bitterly, he would conclude “this God is faithful, He is just, it is my fault.” I don’t need to tell you that he will cry for mercy but it will be sad for him to realize that the throne of Grace which he was passionately begged in sermons to approach while on earth for mercy has turned to throne of judgment. No more mercy, but judgment. When the backslider remembers how he was once burning for God with several scriptures in his head. Shouting “Halleluiah, praise God” was his way of life. But a time came when waves of temptations came to him like an avalanche. Sincerely, he would remember that even in those temptations, he actually chose to fall because there were ways of escape from falling provided for him, but he consciously walked into sin. He would how he cried at first in repentance because of the sin, but soon returned to it again and again because he was enjoying its pleasure, which eventually became a habit. Of course he was still going to church and being called a “Christian” by every body. But every now and then, that gentle Holy Spirit kept convicting him of his sins and urging him to make his ways right again, but he refused and kept grieving the Hoy Ghost. He would remember the last time the Holy Ghost convicted him of his sins and it looked just like how the Holy Ghost used to talk, but he did not know that he was just a step away from death. Once again he snubbed the promptings of the Holy Ghost and that was all; death caught up with him unawares in sin. He would doubtlessly cry for one more chance but to no avail. But deep down in him, he would say, “This God tried enough ….”.That renowned preacher who used forty years to serve God and in His vine yard, when he remembers how in one unguided hour, temptation came despite the fact that he had overcame many, he fell into adultery; when he remembers how he was too ashamed to confess it before men but decided to postpone the restitution till a later date which never came before he passed on. He would cry. But when he remembers how that gentle Holy Ghost kept convicting him until the last moment but he never agreed to confess his sins before men; when remembers how on several occasions he read scriptures relating to that and he quickly closed that page of the scriptures; he would say “But actually God tried enough fro me….” Even that man that lived in an environment that was not open to the word of God until his death would not be excused. Although he never heard the gospel, but right inside him is his conscience that kept convicting him of things he did that were bad. When he remembers that although he did not hear any preaching, but he knew within himself what was right and what was wrong, but he chose the wrong things deliberately because he enjoyed doing them. This man will cry and say “But really this God tried for me…..”While this would be going on on the sorrowful side of the divide, from the pleasant side will arise similar sentences. Although, none will be able to say “My strength brought me here”. Not withstanding, people like Apostle Paul will say, “Although it was by grace made it, not of my works. But that same grace appeared to all men. (Titus 2: 11) “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Tit 2:11-12).The same grace was made available to everybody, but I decided not to frustrate the grace of God on my life. I decided to use the grace to walk in the way God wanted me to walk. Yes by grace I was saved but I had to hold to it tenaciously. I had to carefully work out my salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2: 12). I had my chances, I am grateful to God I made the best out of them.Beloved, you’ve heard about that song. Certainly you will sing it one day. The judgements of God are true. He is just. He will give to every man according to his work (Rev 22: 12). At first many may think they have a case with God, but in the end, they will hail Him as Just and True before they are dispatched to their eternal destinations. The big question is this, which mood do you want to be when you will be singing this song? Is it going to be on your way to the lake of fire or to the New Jerusalem? Maybe the Lord has been dealing with you concerning some things in your life, but you’ve never agreed with Him. You keep pointing to several people in church that are still doing the things God asked you to stop. You keep saying “my Pastor says there is nothing bad in that. It doesn’t matter”.  People keep urging you that all is well. But the Spirit of God has never given you rest about those things. He kept pointing to the scriptures, which other people interpret in another way; painting those things as harmless. Well, you will one day confess to yourself that God tried enough for you if you don’t yield to God now. If you think it doesn’t matter now, what will happen if you stand before God on that final day and you suddenly discover that it matters? You would be the most miserable person to have ever lived. May be you know you are not even born again at all. I want to plead with you that you should come to Jesus so that you will not sorrowfully remember several opportunities of repentance (including this one) but you turned them down all. Confess your sins to God. Repent and forsake them now. Utilize God’s grace that is available now and live righteously here on earth. By the grace of God, we will chant that song in the melodious way in golden City of Heaven.

School resumption is not the best of times for many parents. While the child may be excited about moving to a new class, the parent may be wondering how the money will come together. Many parents are losing sleep, trying to figure out how to raise money to pay fees for the school they chose to send their children. Nobody put a gun to their heads. They chose the school out of their own volition. They are writhing with pain from self-inflicted injury.I often wonder why parents send their children to schools they cannot afford. I have heard many excuses. They want to give their children good education. They don’t trust the quality of education offered by cheaper or free schools. They want to give their children opportunities they never had while growing up. Trying to convince a parent otherwise is often a waste of time or energy, unless they have endured enough school fees-inflicted pain and are ready to do something different. There is nothing wrong with wanting something better for your children. That is very noble indeed. It is how it should be. Things ought to get better, and not worse. But the issue is simple; can you afford it?  It is also painful for the child. Many parents are not aware of the pain the child goes through going to a school the parents cannot afford. It gets obvious very quickly that the child does not belong. Classmates and sometimes teachers rub it in at the earliest opportunity. When all you can afford is school fees, what about uniforms, books, school shoes, bags, sportswear, club dues, and school trips? Each time the list of students yet to pay up is called out, your child’s name comes up. The child takes the brunt of the consequences of the parent’s failure to meet up.How does the child feel watching others do stuff while the parent keeps giving excuses? How does your child feel getting locked out of class due to late payment of fees? I heard a story of a child who was denied graduation gown due to non-payment of school fees. The child missed her high school graduation. How can the parents make it right? Arrange another graduation for the child? How will the child forget such humiliation in a hurry? The child is made to suffer a huge dose of low self-esteem because of the sins of the parents. It is not a good feeling hearing your teacher and school authorities call your hard working parents irresponsible. Self-inflicted suffering. Property owners, for inability to pay the rent, throw out some parents. Some have wrecked their businesses on the altar of paying high school fees. How does being perpetually under pressure serve? If you are struggling to pay primary and secondary school tuition, what happens when the child goes to the university? What message are you sending to the child regarding cutting your coat according to your cloth?Regarding the quality of education, does going to an expensive school translate to success in life? Reality seems to show the opposite. If degrees are what makes a person or nation great, Nigeria would be a first world country. The fact that Nigerians graduate top of the class in the best universities in the world is yet to be translated to greatness as a nation. It is an established fact that emotional intelligence is a better indicator of success in life than academic intelligence. While we kill ourselves over good grades from good schools, we seem to neglect what matters most. There is nothing wrong with getting one if you can afford it. However, killing oneself with financial pressure when academic intelligence is not the only success factor does not make much sense.Focus on academics to the exclusion of other factors is an industrial age mindset. Many professions are becoming obsolete while many new ones are being born. If you are not careful, you may be killing yourself with stress and preparing your child for a world that no longer exists. The skills you need to succeed in today’s world are different from the 1980s and 1990s.The assumption that your child will take care of you in your old age may no longer hold. Someone noted that children are getting more selfish as one goes from one generation to the other. Even when the child is inclined to support the parents, he needs to have a job, which is not guaranteed by expensive education. You can always find your level. There are things parents can do if they feel the standard of education they could afford is not adequate. It ranges from getting a private teacher for the child, have one of the parents teach, or go online. The child can enroll on many online home schooling websites. Home schooling can also be an option if the child could enroll for certificate exams as an external student. There is always a way out when there is a will. What is important is getting the education the child needs, not how much you paid for it.If all fails, missing a year is not a death sentence. Success in life is not based on first to finish school. Developing other competencies gives a competitive edge compared to finishing first while remaining immature emotionally. At the end of the day, it depends on what you really want, and finding the right path to get there in one piece. We are all running an individual race. Where you start does not determine where you will end up.

Peninnah made two big mistakes in dealing with Hannah; 1. Penninah’s first mistake: She thought Hannah was barren. There are some people who thought you are barren, believing that nothing good can come out of you, they thought you will not make progress, but God will surprise them in Jesus name. 2. Penninah’s second mistake: She thought repeated provocation would distract Hannah and make her lose focus and come after her while taking her eyes off God. Many of us have been distracted by provocation; we keep trying focus on those distractions and not the Lord! In the process we may miss our destiny. If you try responding to every provocation, every taunting, you will not even have time to pray.Hannah’s closed womb was a deliberate act of God to display His glory in the life of Hannah.
Your delayed prosperity,
Your delayed breakthrough,
Your delayed deliverance is not bareness,
Listen  a closed womb, closed by God so that when the delay is over, you will know that your breakthrough is not by your own power or might, but by the grace of God.

Stewards of God: Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 1Corinthians-4:2. We Are to Recognize God's Ownership.--That which lies at the foundation of business integrity and of true success is the recognition of God's ownership. The Creator of all things, He is the original proprietor. We are His stewards. All that we have is a trust from Him, to be used according to His direction. This is an obligation that rests upon every human being. It has to do with the whole sphere of human activity. Whether we recognize it or not, we are stewards, supplied from God with talents and facilities and placed in the world to do a work appointed by Him.     Money is not ours; houses and grounds, pictures and furniture, garments and luxuries, do not belong to us. We are pilgrims, we are strangers. We have only a grant of those things that are necessary for health and life. . . . Our temporal blessings are given us in trust, to prove whether we can be entrusted with eternal riches. If we endure the proving of God, then we shall receive that purchased possession which is to be our own--glory, honor, and immortality. We Must Give an Account.--If our own people would only put into the cause of God the money that has been lent them in trust, that portion which they spend in selfish gratification, in idolatry, they would lay up treasure in heaven, and would be doing the very work God requires them to do. But like the rich man in the parable, they live sumptuously. The money God has lent them in trust, to be used to His name's glory, they spend extravagantly. They do not stop to consider that there is to be a reckoning day not far hence, when they must give an account of their stewardship. In our use of money we can make it an agent of spiritual improvement by regarding it as a sacred trust, not to be employed to administer to pride, vanity, appetite, or passion.  We should ever remember that in the judgment we must meet the record of the way we use God's money. Much is spent in self-pleasing, self-gratification, that does us no real good, but positive injury. If we realize that God is the giver of all good things, that the money is his, then we shall exercise wisdom in its expenditure, conforming to his holy will. The world, its customs, its fashions, will not be our. Stay blessed

Someone asked Bill Gates, Is there any person richer than you? He said, yes, only one. Many years ago, I had been dismissed and I had gone to New York airport. I read titles of newspapers there. I liked one of them and I want to buy it. But I didn't have change (coin). So abandoned the idea, suddenly, a black boy called me and told me, “This newspaper for you.” I said, but I don’t have change. He said, “No problem, I give you free”. After 3 months, I went there. Coincidentally, that story happened again and that same boy gave me another free newspaper again. I said, I can’t accept it. But he said, “I give you from my profit.”After 19 years, I had been rich and I decided to find that boy. I found him after one and half month's search. I asked him, do you know me? He said, “Yes, you’re famous Bill Gates.”I said, you gave me free newspaper 2 times many years ago. Now, I want to compensate it. I am going to give you everything that you want. Black young man replied, “You can’t compensate it!”I said, why? He said, "Because I gave you when I was poor. You want to give me when you are rich. So, how do you compensate?"Bill Gates said, I think that black young man is richer than me.You don't have to be rich or wait to be rich to give...Real attitude of giving is when you lack

ANCHOR QUOTE : " Whosoever walks towards God one cubit, God runs towards him
twain. "– Jewish proverb

Most of us have seen God's favour at work in our lives, God has been good to us. He has protected us, promoted us & opened doors for us. That's His divine favour. But I believe that God still wants to do great things in our lives today & in the days to come, that means we haven't seen anything yet; God wants to show us His divine favour like never before. What God has in our future is going to be bigger & better, & far greater than what we expect or experienced in past! He is going to show us His goodness in ways we have never seen before, all we have to do is keep standing, keep praying, keep putting Him first & watch His divine favour come in every area of our lives! No wonder the Bible says on (Eph 3:20) that, "What the Lord has prepared for us is more exceedingly, abundantly & far above, what we could ask or think of, according to the power that worketh in us." He has prepared great things for us, it ain't get better than this Brothers & Sisters Christ! This evening say, thank you Father for the great things you have prepared for me!

THE LORD MEETS CORNELIUS IN A VISION : One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision.  He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, ‘Cornelius!’ Acts 10: 3, NIV .There are numerous ways God communicates His will to people. One of such ways is through vision. It was via a vision that God made Cornelius and Peter to realise that He has erased all prejudices and barriers between people. This is a remarkable message for the Church to function better because discrimination is everywhere in the world. Cornelius had an unusual reverence for God. He was a pious man who was very close to the kingdom of God, but this piety was not enough to take him there. Through a vision, he was made to realise he still lacked something. God gave him special instructions on how to reach the person (Peter) who would link him to Jesus Christ – the only way to the kingdom of God. No amount of good works can save us, except faith in the atoning death of Christ alone. Cornelius saw and heard the angel, and he obeyed the heavenly vision (verses 7-8). God speaks to us in diverse ways. He is not interested in leaving us in the dark. But our obedience to His instructions determines whether we would continue to hear Him or not. Are you obedient to heavenly instructions? Obedience is the key word to divine visitation. Bear this in mind as you go out today.

THE BOOKS IN THE BIBLE:  I went to Genesis hotel through Exodus road. On the way, I saw Leviticus recording the Numbers of people at Deuteronomy, while Joshua was waiting at the Beautiful gate for Judges to see Ruth calling loudly "Samuel,  Samuel.  At a stage, the First and second Kings of Chronicles 1 & 2, were coming to visit Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther for the misfortune of Job their brother. They started singing Psalms and teaching children Proverbs concerning Ecclesiastes and Songs of Solomon. This coincided with the period that Isaiah was engaged in Jeremiah's Lamentations together with Ezekiel and Daniel  their friends. By that time, Amos and Obadiah were not around. Three days later, Hosea, Joel and Jonah travelled in the same ship with Micah and Nahum to Jerusalem. Habakkuk then visited Zephaniah  who introduced him to Haggai a friend of Zechariah whose cousin is Malachi. Immediately after the tradition, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John got involved in Acts of the Romans who were behaving like the 1st Corinthians group because the 2nd Corinthians group were always at loggerheads with the Galatians. At that time too, they realized that the Ephesians and Philippians were close to the Colossians, and a suggestion for the first Thessalonians visit was made, and that on their second Thessalonians visit, they should first of all see the first and second of the Timothy brothers who had gone to the house of Titus to teach Philemon his younger brother how to read and write in Hebrew. On hearing this, James asked Peter twice to explain to him how the three Johns have disclosed to Jude the Revelations of this journey.

Finding Your Spouse According to God’s Design : …let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. — Ephesians 5:33.So many stories confuse our picture of what love is. Romantic love has been the subject of most popular music, much poetry and fiction. The message is often that the exciting feelings can last forever. Or that there is one person out there with whom everything will fall into place automatically. True love, people say, will complete a person. But if we have such high expectations, and if we aren’t very clear about God’s plan for romantic love, how can we avoid being swept up in the world’s songs and stories? Do you really want Jesus to be at the center of your future marriage? If so, how can you get started His way? 1. Wait for God’s Awakening
In the account of Eve’s creation, have you ever noticed how God prepared Adam? How do you get someone to notice something missing? God had said, “It is not good that the man should be alone…” (Genesis 2:18 ) God said as He announced His intention: “…I will make him a helper fit for him.” How did God get Adam to notice his own aloneness? God brought all the animal life He had created to Adam: “The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.” (Genesis 2:20 ) By getting Adam to notice the animals with their corresponding mates, God alerted him to his own uniqueness and the fact that he had no one like him. Then God met the very desire He had awakened in Adam: “…the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.” (Genesis 2:22 ). The Bible’s Song of Solomon is a book about a fresh new marriage between Solomon and his bride, called the “Shulamite.” (6:13) Some have seen a parallel to God’s awakening of Adam in her poetic advice to the other
“daughters of Jerusalem:” “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the does of the field, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases.” (Song of Solomon 2:7 ). The world urgently tells girls and boys to pair up as young as possible, but God's word does not. In fact, the Apostle Paul warns the Corinthians, “…those who marry will have worldly troubles.” (1 Corinthians 7:28 ) To avoid these troubles, don’t spend time worrying or fantasizing about a life that isn’t (yet) yours. We’re told not to be “…anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6 ) Faith in God’s timing and provision is the opposite of anxiety, and will save you much heartache.
2. Seek God’s Selection: Paul warned the Corinthians, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” ( 2 Corinthians 6:14 ) This is important advice for Christians in any relationship, but is especially critical when it comes to a marriage. Genesis 24 records how important it was to Abraham that his son Isaac have a godly wife. He sent his servant back to the country he came from, telling him,
“…[God] will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.” (Genesis 24:7 )Thinking again about the first marriage, remember that God went before them and became the first matchmaker. Before Adam was even aware of his need for a wife, it was God’s plan to “…make him a helper fit for him.” (Genesis 2:18 ) If God wants you to marry (or marry again), at the right time He will show you the person He has chosen for you. 3. Fully Embrace the Mystery:The mention of God’s plan hints at a larger truth.Marriage is bigger than our personal satisfaction.Ephesians 5:31-32 and Genesis 2:24 explain: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.” Verses 21-33 explain in more detail. But as Ephesians 5:21 hints, mutual submission is a big part of the picture. A wife must be willing to “submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord,” (Ephesians 5:22 ), and the husband must be willing to “love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” Then, both will come to realize that marriage is a ministry. It is the deepest, most intimate and personal ministry we will have on this earth. When you commit to someone else in marriage, you are choosing someone to whom your ministry before God will be devoted for the rest of your lives together. Ideally, God will use each of you to accomplish His purposes for the other in a way no one else could. And He will use your union to accomplish His purpose in the world in a way neither of you could do alone.

My word of advice for singles : Marriage determines your altitude in life. If you marry well you will go far. In opposite direction, if you marry wrong you end up living a miserable life . Be wise and build your relationship on solid ground.
