Chap. 180 - Two Great Classes of Christians

     I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Revelation 13:3.

     In homage to the Papacy the United States will not be alone. The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion, is still far from being destroyed.  {Mar 188.2}

     In the last conflict the Sabbath will be the special point of controversy throughout all Christendom. Secular rulers and religious leaders will unite to enforce the observance of the Sunday; and as milder measures fail, the most oppressive laws will be enacted. It will be urged that the few who stand in opposition to an institution of the church and a law of the land ought not to be tolerated. . . . Romanism in the Old World, and apostate Protestantism in the New, will pursue a similar course toward those who honor the divine precepts.  {Mar 188.3}

     The so-called Christian world is to be the theater of great and decisive actions. Men in authority will enact laws controlling the conscience, after the example of the Papacy. Babylon will make all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Every nation will be involved. [Revelation 18:3-7 quoted.]  {Mar 188.4}

     The warning of the third angel [of Revelation 14] . . . is represented in the prophecy as being proclaimed with a loud voice, by an angel flying in the midst of heaven; and it will command the attention of the world.  {Mar 188.5}

     In the issue of the contest all Christendom will be divided into two great classes--those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and those who worship the beast and his image and receive his mark. Although church and state will unite their power to compel "all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond" (Revelation 13:16), to receive "the mark of the beast," yet the people of God will not receive it. The prophet of Patmos beholds "them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God" and singing the song of Moses and the Lamb. Revelation 15:2, 3.  {Mar 188.6}

*BE FIRED UP TO DO MORE .*
*Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your eternal plan for all mankind (Psalm 67:2 TLB).*_

In Revelation 22:7, the Master said, _*“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”*_Then in Matthew 28:19-20, He instructed, _*“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”*_He’s coming back soon, and He’s given us the mandate to evangelize the world before He comes back. He said in Luke 19:13, _*“…Occupy till I come”;*_ that means keep working; keep preaching; keep leading men and women into righteousness. There’s an urgency, a fervency in our spirits to share the message of His love around the world. We’re the bearers of His righteousness; His light in a dark world. Isaiah 60:2 says, _*“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”*_

Now, more than ever, we must realize our position as the light of the world, and take the light of the Gospel to men and women around the world. We can’t afford to be weak, lukewarm, or quiet. We must maintain the glow, urgency, and passion that the moment demands. We’re the custodians of this Gospel; it’s our responsibility to preach it with the knowledge and power of the Spirit—as witnesses to all nations (Matthew 24:14).

Remember, the Gospel is God’s saving power that unveils His eternal plan for mankind; it’s worth living for, and if need be, dying for.

                     *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I pray that through the preaching and proclamation of the Gospel, a mighty harvest of souls be recorded around the world. I break the power of the prince of the air, and terminate his hold over the lives of men and women around the world, as they hear the Gospel. I pray for increased activities of angels, to guide them to the truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*THEME: THE SUPPLY OF THE SPIRIT*

*_PHILIPPIANS 1:19 (KJV)_*
*For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ*

One most important reality that makes the Christian always walk worthy is being constantly  conscious of the Spirit’s presence. This consciousness always keeps you calm even in challenging situations. When the apostle Paul was in bond for the sake of the gospel, he was certain of one thing that there is the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. As the church so dear to him stood in prayer for him, the apostle was aware that not only will he come out of prison but that he is endowed and strengthened with the graces of the Spirit.

In times you find yourself worrying much and seem to be distressed, steer clear of fretting and be awakened to the constant supply of the Spirit. Be sure of this one thing; that the Holy Spirit is engaged in nothing else but souls. He is engaged in you. All you need to do is to be much more aware of His abundant supply of graces at all times. If you will build this consciousness always around you, you will always progress in all your endeavours.

*DECLARATION:* Thank you Lord Holy Spirit for always being engaged in me. I am awakened to the constant supply of your graces in me at all times. Hallelujah!
